The custom residential projects so deftly brought to fruition by Timothy Klink often resonate with stately elegance and a sense of order that the finished product can disguise the occasional hurdle encountered by his experienced construction professionals. But that’s part of what has distinguished The Coastal Companies for the better part of two decades. Working for discerning clients in some of the East Coast’s most affluent communities, Klink and his experts don’t just manage the challenges on a typical project - they embrace them.

Stunning only begins to describe some of the timeless Cape Cod houses that The Coastal Companies has contributed to exclusive communities on the famed Massachusetts peninsula, which is known as a summer haven for the elite that can be dated back to the Kennedys. Their mantra to build or renovate custom homes through three divisions, Coastal Custom Builders, Coastal Land Design, and Island Pools Cape Cod, has given them a reputation of a one-stop shop, where they create homes that match their client’s needs and ideas while embracing the cooperative effort of their team to surpass their client’s expectations.

“We design and build custom homes along with renovations and additions, essentially creating a lifestyle for our clients on Cape Cod,” mentions Klink. “A majority of people are retiring here or are summer people, and they dream of owning a home on Cape Cod, and we build that dream for them. We do everything from the design and construction of the house to the landscaping. We’re a diversified company handling all aspects of
construction.”

Answering the call for the latest multi-generational living, The Coastal Companies’ latest project on Cape Cod doesn’t disappoint. “This house is our version of a Cape Cod farmhouse, Klink explains. “We orchestrated the design and construction of the home. It features a primary first-floor suite for first-floor living to accommodate today’s age-in-place living. The second floor has three ensuite bedrooms to allow the extended family to gather and have space. Designed for multi-generational living, which is the hot trend now.”
