Rose Narmani Interiors enhances famed bodybuilder Ulisses Williams Jr.’s British countryside manor with a serene, masculine touch.
Bodybuilder, fitness model, and entrepreneur Ulisses Williams, Jr. is known for his iconic 8-pack abs and insane aesthetics, so it is no surprise that he chose Rose Narmani Interiors to renovate his U.K. countryside estate. Ulisses, Jr. spent years meticulously curating one of the most incredible physiques in the world. At the same time, Rose Narmani and her eponymously named design house curated the most luxurious interiors for her A-list client roster. The two are known for championing excellence, achieving what seems to be the impossible every step of the way
“The goal was to create an irresistibly inviting, luxurious contemporary space that takes advantage of light and space within the house which had previously not been taken advantage of, “ explains Narmani.
To achieve this fete, Narmani made several substantial structural changes. The original staircase was removed and replaced with a statement wrought iron circular staircase in the entrance hallway. Original beams were taken out to develop more space and proportion, forming an impressive double-height foyer to welcome guests. Yet, by keeping the original windows, one is reminded of the house’s history while creating a sense of grandeur.
Each room evokes a contemporary style with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a cinema room, an exterior gym, and a four-car garage. To create a more modern home, new finishes for the floor and walls, cornices, lighting, doors, skirting, joinery, furniture, and window treatments. Organic elements and rich, layered textures are now a part of the decor.
Narmani also outfitted the bathrooms with new baths and showers, modern fittings, and finishes. Now more of a personal spa, the owners have a luxurious space to spend quiet and peaceful times after the rushing hours of the daily routines. In the kitchen, new units and appliances were installed. The layout also features a bespoke built-in dining banquette as a functional solution to maximize open-plan living space.
