As one of Northern California’s emerging interior design firms, the highly sought-after Hawkins Interiors, is known for its chic and personable approach to curating spaces. Napa Valley, the surrounding Northern California region, and travels around the globe have been an endless source of inspiration for the founder Julie Hawkins and her studio. It has led to a careerlong investigation into the relationship between natural beauty and how to create spaces individuals can immerse themselves into to develop deep and meaningful connections - all of which define her signature palettes and materials.

“When approaching hospitality projects, it is important to create spaces that organically pull you in and offer a moment of respite,” says Hawkins. “Our goal always is to deliver to our clients, beautiful and functional spaces that by design, and as a reflection of our intent, foster connection.”

The firm brings an inviting touch to its growing portfolio, which includes hospitality and residential spaces. To date, their work spans the West Coast, from Northern California to Oregon, and as far as the Midwest.

Calistoga Restaurant & Brewery

Nestled in the quaint town of Calistoga, this long-adored local restaurant and bar pack a big design punch. Always bustling with locals and tourists alike, the cool and classic design palette brings a level of unexpected sophistication to the popular region. For the outdoor garden, which abuts the Napa River, Hawkins Interiors worked with Ann Baker Landscape Architecture to design an inviting space with various configurations, from a communal picnic-style table to cozy loungers by the fire. Standout project vendors and manufacturers include Farrow & Ball, Rejuvenation, Urban Lumber Company, and Fermob

Mira Winery & Hospitality House

Hawkins Interiors collaborated on the 1,300-square-foot indoor, private tasting room in Yountville, CA, with VRA Architects. Designed to achieve a curated balance of old and new world sensibilities, the tasting room is a warm and inviting space punctuated by a sense of sophistication. From inside, guests can gaze through French iron doors that open up views to the mountains and beyond. Outside, the patio is furnished simply with a wood table and chairs, providing the perfect spot to take in the landscape and enjoy a moment of respite and solitude. Standout project vendors and manufacturers include Stark Carpet, Lee Industries, Jeff Menchaca, Zia Tile, and Cement Tile Store.
