Una Casa Privada, perched gracefully in the hills above Sunset Plaza, offers a serene and immersive experience where art, design, and nature converge in perfect harmony. More than just a home, this reimagined villa is a living gallery curated by the renowned Una Malan, whose impeccable eye for detail has transformed it into a beacon of refined elegance.
Inside Una Casa Privada, every detail tells a story. The villa serves as an extension of Malan’s celebrated Los Angeles showroom, showcasing a curated collection of her own designs alongside pieces from some of the world’s most talented artisans. From the textured ClayCraft plaster walls to the soft glow of Gabriel Scott chandeliers, the space exudes a sense of effortless sophistication. Furnishings like the Una Malan-designed Olive Chaise and Berkeley Sofa bring an understated luxury, while carefully selected works of art by Charles Arnoldi and Aude Herledan imbue each room with personality and depth.
The upstairs den, for instance, invites contemplation with its Berkeley sectional paired with a Joseph Pagano desk lamp. Rich textiles from Designs of the Time add warmth to the space, while ÉTUDE MKE (2020) hangs as a focal point, drawing the eye to its modern energy. Similarly, the family room balances comfort and artistry with Mehraban rugs, Joan Lurie sculptures, and the sleek Pike Round Dining Table by Lucas Leibman. The experience extends outdoors, where lush gardens
frame cozy seating areas, such as the Chiswick sectional from Malan’s own collection. Each corner
is designed to inspire connection—whether it’s over a casual conversation or an intimate gathering under the stars.
