Simon Hamui’s design studio stands at the forefront of custom furniture, specialty millwork, and interior architecture, redefining the boundaries of contemporary design with each project undertaken. With a diverse portfolio that encompasses unique furniture commissions, turn-key interior designs, and intricate art curation for private homes, luxury hotels, corporate spaces, and yachts, the studio has cemented its presence across Mexico and the United States. At the heart of its operations in Mexico City, Simon Hamui’s workshop is a testament to the studio’s dedication to craftsmanship, hosting specialized departments for woodworking, stone carving, metalworking, and upholstery. This multidisciplinary approach not only enhances the studio’s ability to produce bespoke pieces with meticulous attention to detail but also fosters innovation in design solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of their clientele.

The launch of Bartok, the debut piece from the Simon Hamui Collection, signifies a new chapter in the studio’s legacy. This limited-edition series of bar cabinets, limited to six distinct pieces, epitomizes the studio’s commitment to marrying functional design with opulent materials and artisanal craftsmanship. Each Bartok cabinet is a celebration of uniqueness, defined by its material composition and color scheme, ensuring that each piece stands out as a singular work of art. Measuring 160W x 195H x 42D centimeters (or 63” x 76 3/4” x 16 5/8” in inches), these cabinets are designed to be both visually striking and supremely functional, catering to the refined tastes of a discerning clientele.

Constructed from smoked Eucalyptus and adorned with elements of tarnished gold leaf, green onyx, aged brass, olive leather, and smoked mirror, each Bartok bar cabinet integrates a pull-out stone countertop, along with shelving and drawers for storage, illuminated by integrated LED lighting. This careful selection of materials and thoughtful design not only enhances the visual appeal but also the practicality of the cabinet, making it a standout piece that reflects Simon Hamui’s unwavering commitment to quality and innovation.
