Lladró — the Spanish porcelain art brand whose name has become synonymous with luxury and artistry across the globe — is expanding to the Caribbean; opening a new boutique in one of a series of 19th-century Danish warehouses on the idyllic island of St. Thomas. Known for its handmade whimsical porcelain figurines, which range in color and style, this addition joins a collection of Lladró boutiques in some of the best shopping areas across the globe; including New York, London, Moscow, Tokyo, Shanghai, Singapore, Madrid and Cancun, to name a few.

With its canvas of white walls and curved lines, the new store is designed to offer the perfect frame for each piece on display, regardless of its shape, color or function. Patrons of this tropical boutique will be able to shop an exclusive collection of Caribbean creations, as well as a selection of spectacular home décor and lighting pieces. Having earned immense success since its inception in the 1960s, the luxury porcelain brand — which opened new stores at eight other international locations in 2014 alone — is expected to expand even further, with plans to open boutiques in Miami and Beverly Hills in the near future.
